Read in this chapter as predicted rather than surprising: on full mechanical support the pump has already restored coronary perfusion, so revascularisation is the treatment of the substrate rather than the resuscitation itself. It argues against treating angiography as time-critical reperfusion, not against angiography as diagnosis.
