Expert opinion in the absence of empirical evidence. A 2025 conference abstract of the same study reports 125 statements yielding 34 position statements across 7 domains. The 42 position statements themselves were not retrieved and none is quoted.
Consensus reached on 126 statements, synthesised into 42 summary position statements, across system-level considerations, haemodynamic targets, ventilation and oxygenation, anticoagulation, temperature regulation, complication mitigation, weaning and neuroprognostication.
