Nothing directly. But a 2025 conference abstract of the same study reports 125 statements yielding 34 position statements across 7 domains, against 126 statements and 42 positions across 8 domains in the 2026 journal report. Both counts are recorded and neither is asserted.

Practical implication

The only structured guidance that exists for post-ECPR management, and newer than the ELSO ECPR interim guidance (ASAIO J 2021) — so it partly closes Part IV's largest currency gap. It is expert opinion by construction and its authors say so: in the absence of robust empirical evidence it offers a framework for decision-making and protocol development. Retrieving the 42 statements in full is now the second-highest-value outstanding target in Part IV.

126 statements reaching 70% or greater agreement across three Delphi rounds, synthesised into 42 summary position statements, from 52 of 53 international experts across 16 countries and 8 specialties, with a steering committee of 11 experts and one ECPR survivor. Registered NCT06552312. The individual position statements were NOT retrieved and none is quoted in this book.
